The Follow the Dream Program in the Perth Northern Metropolitan region is delivered in two school sites: Hampton Senior High School and Kiara College (formerly Lockridge Senior High School).

Aspirant Aboriginal students have the opportunity to join the program and access a wide range of support in pursuing their aspirations at school and beyond. A group of specialist tutors from many and varied walks of life mentor and provide academic enrichment in order to support students in achieving their academic and life goals.

Students are carefully matched with mentors and tutors to ensure the students received tailored support and achieve the best possible results as they progress through secondary school and onto their chosen post-school pathway. Students also have the opportunity to experience a wide range of rich cultural and academic experiences outside the classroom, which broadens their horizons and deepens their cultural understanding.

The program acknowledges and celebrates all of its participants – their commitment, motivation and endeavour to follow their dreams. The three-way educational relationship between the student, tutor and family thrives and promotes a supportive learning journey for each individual. Students choosing to engage in the program are taking control of their future through developing a maturity that ensures they have the tools and confidence to pursue their ambitions.

The program is proudly supported by the WA Department of Education.
